Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now OnestiThe name refers to the Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Gheorghi Romania). She was first person to reach a flawless 10 at an Olympic ceremony. Bela Karalyi came across Comaneci in the age group of six. She would later become Romania's gymnastics coach. She began competing in the national junior championships of 1969 placing 13th and she took the title in 1970. Three gold medals were awarded in her first competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972, which was a communist-friendly countries. In 1973 as well as 1974, she became the all-around junior champion. In addition, she won four gold and one silver in her debut competition as a senior, held in 1975. It was the first time she participated as a senior. In 1976, she became the first female to complete reverse double salos on the parallel bar that was uneven as part of her demount. She was the winner from the American Cup, held in New York City. At the age of 13, she began performing in traveling shows like Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne is a U.S. citizen born on 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol was a part of the entertainment business during her teenage years. She began her career as figure skater performing with her cousin Nina Wayne as part of the show that was a traveling spectacle named Ice Capades. The show featured dramatized ice skating performances.
